Hi everyone. I’ve been hearing a lot about Saint Faustina and the Divine Mercy devotion (the image, the Chaplet, the “Jesus, I trust in You” phrase). I’m Catholic but I honestly never went deep into it until recently. This past year has been heavy—family worries, my own sins I’m not proud of, and a constant feeling that God is disappointed in me.
I’m trying to understand, in a simple and faithful way: what exactly did Saint Faustina teach about God’s mercy? Is it mainly about praying the Chaplet, or is it more about how we live? And how does it fit with confession, repentance, and trying not to presume on grace? If you have sources (Bible/Catechism/Church teaching) or personal experiences, I’d be grateful.
