I’m a Catholic student (college) and I’m trying to take my faith seriously without becoming “the weird religious person” in every group. A lot of conversations on campus assume the Church is either irrelevant or harmful, and even friends who are nice can get sarcastic when I mention Mass or confession.
I’m also finding it hard to keep prayer consistent with classes, work, and social stuff. Dating is confusing too—hookup culture is everywhere, and I don’t want to compromise, but I also don’t want to be isolated. Online it feels like Catholicism gets reduced to politics, and I’m honestly just trying to follow Jesus.
For students today (high school or college), what do you think are the biggest challenges? And what has actually helped you stay grounded—practically and spiritually?
