I’m a sophomore and I’m trying to take my faith seriously, but college life makes it harder than I expected. My schedule is all over the place, I’m surrounded by people who don’t really get faith, and I notice I’m more distracted than I used to be.
I still believe and I want to stay close to God, but I’m struggling with consistency. Some weeks I make it to Mass and I feel grounded, then midterms hit and I barely pray. I also feel awkward bringing up Catholic stuff with friends, and I don’t want to be weird or judgmental.
For those who’ve been through college (or are in it now), what actually helped you stay close to God in a real, daily way? Any habits, prayers, campus ministry tips, or ways to handle parties/dating/social pressure without drifting?
